Paula Mota Santos holds a phD in Anthropology form University Colleg London (Uk). Her research focus is centered on the relationship between social identity and space. As such she has researched and published on immigration, on urban systems and minorities, on tourism, on heritage and museum practices. She has an interest in anonymous photography and documentary filmmaking. She is a founding member of the AAA interest Group on the Anthropology of Tourism (ATiG) and has served as member of ATIG's panel for the The Ed Bruner Book Award and of the The Nelson Graburn Book Award. She is Associate Professor of Anthropology at Fernando Pessoa University, Porto, Portugal, and Associate Researcher at the Administration and Public Policy Center part of the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Paula Mota Santos holds a BA in History (Porto University) a MA in Archaeology (Reading University, UK) and a PhD in Anthropology (University College London, UK). With a wide experience in qualitative research methods, her research focus is centered on the relationship between social identity and space. Ágnes Sántha (1978), PhD, sociologist is an assistant professor at the Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania, Faculty of Technical and Human Sciences Tirgu Mures, Department of Applied Social Sciences. She is coordinator of the study program Public Health. Her expertise is the sociology of health, particularly the social determinants of health and health literacy. She received her PhD in sociology from the Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences (2011) and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (2013). She is invited to teach The Sociology of the Quality of Life at the Partium Christian University Oradea, and The Sociology of Public Opinion at the University of Arts Tirgu Mures. She is a member of the European Sociological Association (ESA) and the European Public Health Association (EUPHA). She is a member of the reviewer board of international peer-reviewed journals in social sciences.
